Qualifications
- Master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited (by a federally recognized accrediting agency)
- university program.
- Full, active and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in one of any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands, and certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as either an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), or certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
- At least three years of experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) providing physical therapy services and injury prevention and reconditioning education to groups of athletes, Service Members or physically active military-aged adult populations focused on a common sport, mission or activity performance goals.
- Experience providing virtual education (e.g. lectures, presentation, videos and/or other multimedia aids), and practical hands on training related to injury prevention, pre-habilitation, principles of reconditioning versus rehabilitation, and rucking and running technique.
- Physically able to successfully demonstrate all exercises and techniques.
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams.
