Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) from an accredited (by a federally recognized accrediting agency) university program in Occupational Therapy and current, full, active, and unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in one of any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Prior military service in an Army Combat Operational Stress Control Unit required.
- At least three (3) years of experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) providing behavioral health occupational therapy and life skills training to groups of athletes, Service Members or physically active military-aged adult populations focused on a common sport, mission or activity performance goals.
- Experience conducting multi-domain education such as lecture, multi-media and practical handson training related to mental, emotional, and interpersonal skills to optimize team and unit cohesion and performance, and performance behaviors (lifestyle habits, routines, sleep hygiene, self-awareness, communication, unit cohesion, anger/stress management, problem solving skills, and combat stress control).
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams.
