Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Nutrition Science or related field from an accredited (by a federally recognized accrediting agency) university program and certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) as a Registered Dietitian and specialty certification as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD). CSSD certification may be waived by the COR if all other qualifications are met.
- Full, active, and unrestricted state dietitian certification/license in one of any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
- At least three (3) years of experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) as a Performance Dietitian providing nutrition education to groups of athletes, Service Members or physically active military-aged adult populations focused on a common sport, mission or activity performance goals.
- Experience conducting multi-domain education such as lecture, multi-media and practical handson training related to nutrition for optimal health, performance nutrition (event fueling/hydration, mission preparedness, post training/mission recovery, and arduous environments), and weight management (body composition and weight loss).
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams.
